Nikki Bart and her mother Cheryl Bart are the first-ever mother-daughter team to summit the world's tallest mountain, Mt Everest. Upon reaching the top, they also became the first mother-daughter duo to complete the Seven Summits; climbing the highest peak of every continent in the world. In 2008, they were the recipients of the Australian Geographic Spirit of Adventure Award.
Nikki is a medical student and has just finished her fifth year of medical school. She is the co-chairman of the Medical Student Aid Project, which donates medical equipment and pharmaceuticals to developing world hospitals. She is also involved in the leadership of the medical student council, being a fifth year representative and intercampus liaison officer. Nikki is involved in a number of volunteer programs, including student orientation and diverse charities.
Nikki speaks to school children, young adults, women and corporate audiences.
