Tom Potter, founder of Australian owned Eagle Boys Dial-A-Pizza, left school at 15 and found himself jobless at 23. He borrowed the money to open his first pizza shop in Albury, New South Wales and has proceeded to build his business to over 200 stores across Australia and Fiji. In April 2007, with an annual turnover in excess of $110 million, Tom Potter sold the Eagle Boys pizza chain to a Queensland-based venture capital group NBC Capital.
Like many successful people, Tom started his business life with only a basic education behind him, no money and no mentor. He has become Australian Financial Review’s “Young Business Person of the Year” and been chosen to deliver the Valedictorian speech on behalf of his graduating class at the world famous Harvard Business School.
Tom is a sought after speaker on people, persistence and success. He reveals his trail of trials, tribulations and triumphs in a unique, dynamic, inspirational and straight forward style.

Thank you for presenting such an informative and interesting overview of the growth of Eagle Boys. It was, without doubt, one of the most stimulating presentations and discussions from a guest speaker in recent times.
