David (or ‘Kochie’ as he is otherwise known) is co-host of Australia’s No. 1 breakfast Show “Sunrise” on the Seven Network, host of My Business television show as well as co-host of Seven’s prime time hit series “Where Are They Now?”.
David Koch’s knowledge of money and business is extensive as is his history in this sector. In a survey conducted by Money Management newspaper his peers recognized David Koch as one of the 10 most influential people in the financial services industry. Another acknowledgement of David’s popularity as a TV presenter came in March 2004 when he was nominated for a Silver Logie award.
He has a strong interest in small business issues and was a director of the NSW Small Business Development Corporation for over six years being appointed to the board at its inception in 1996. As a former business owner, operator and company director, David Koch is in demand as a presenter and regularly addresses a wide range of corporate events and groups. David Koch’s specialty is speaking on success in small business and investment issues as well as providing practical tips. David speaks informatively from a base of personal experience and knowledge of business and financial issues.
But finance aside, he is also an all-round good bloke and family man making himself perfect for his role on Sunrise. He is currently on the council of his daughters school and is passionate about education. Just don’t ask him about rugby!
David Koch also is a contributing editor to the investor section of Sydney’s Sun-Herald newspaper and weekly money columnist in ‘The Experts’ section of New Idea. He also extents his time to radio, as a daily money commentator on more than 50 regional radio stations with his popular A Minute On Your Business and A Minute On Your Money segments.
He is author of the best-selling book Your Money and Your Life and Kochie’s Best Jokes and co-author (with wife Libby) of I’m Not Made of Money, a parent's guide to teaching kids about money as well as Kochie's Guide - How Smart Couples Can Start with Nothing, but Love and Laugh and Create Real Wealth.
