Amber Sherlock is a journalist and presenter with the Nine Network, forming a key part of the Weekend Today team and presenting the Early Morning News along with major bulletins throughout the day.

After graduating from the University of Technology Sydney, Amber began her journalistic career with the Seven Network, filing reports for Sunrise and 11AM along with various news bulletins as a snow reporter. After progressing into Seven’s Sydney newsroom as a reporter for Sydney Weekender, Amber left Seven for the corporate arena, working as newsreader for the Commonwealth Bank’s internal news service. Amber then moved to Network Ten as weather/entertainment presenter for the Sydney Olympics before relocating to London as a financial journalist.

On her return to Australia, Amber undertook a successful stint with Network Ten in Canberra as host of a news & current affairs program before returning to Sydney as a financial journalist for Commsec and reporter for Sky News, the ABC, the Nine Network and Ten News.

Prior to joining Nine, Amber worked with Sky News Australia as a newsreader and business presenter, firstly with the First Edition team before moving to the Evening News to host a nightly business program. Amber began her career with Nine in 2007 as Today’s business and finance reporter before progressing to presenter of Early Morning Show and fill-in presenter on the weekday Today show and 11am news.

In January 2009, Amber joined the Weekend Today team, alongside co-hosts Cameron Williams and Leila McKinnon, and sports report Michael Slater. Amber is an accomplished MC and guest speaker who is in high demand from the corporate sector.
