Getting Wow-ed

So, you’ve just come back from the conference. You saw some amazing speakers! You were excited, motivated, moved and perhaps even, ‘Wow-ed!’

Then, you stop and think, “How can I get my team/leaders/business to take on some of that learning and make it real?”. It can be a real challenge to get action from ideas.

The Good news – you can –with some help!

I have worked alongside some of the best speakers in Australia and take some of their ideas and help businesses convert them into action. It can make the investment in the conference or the speaker much more worthwhile and long lasting.

I recently worked with a client who was particularly impressed with a speaker whose focus was on leading organisations through changing and challenging times. He wanted to instil his leaders with some of the key messages but also to empower them with some practical skills and knowledge.

We met and unpacked the key messages and put them in context of the business and its leaders. We implemented a measure of current leadership effectiveness, provided high performance coaching, developed individual and group action plans and measured the impact of this approach. It took 9 months, but it worked.

There was a lift in performance, greater levels of communication, less conflict and improved leadership. We took some great ideas and concepts and turned them into real outcomes for the business and the people in it. We turned his ‘Wow’ into real ‘How’!

The 'How' - is all about the process

The process I use is below and is always tailored to the individual client.

Distil - the ideas/concepts

Diagnose - the business and its people

Design - a plan is created with the business.

Deliver – this may include workshops, psychometric tools, coaching, mentoring amongst other approaches.

Review – the program is measured to ensure there is a good R.O.I.
