Australian based Heidi Di Santo is a pioneer in the emotional fitness field offering a common-sense approach to mental health. For the past 20 years, she has been helping people to truly heal by treating the cause of the problem, not just the symptoms.
Initially her focus was on physical health and wellness, but after personally experiencing anxiety and depression and going on a search for non-medicated ways to get her old spark back, her focus changed to emotional health and wellness as she realised this was the missing link.
Heidi is a gifted counsellor with the ability to help people move through issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction and overwhelm. She also trains Counsellors, Psychologists and other therapists in Dr Gordon Emmerson’s Resource Therapy.
She is author of the books Ignite Your Potential, Lose Size and Energize and I Should Be Happy But I’m Not.
She is creator of The Emotional Fitness Gym, a unique online membership platform offering weekly lessons to help people be proactive with their mental health so they can become mentally fit and emotionally strong and ultimately live a better quality of life. These lessons help people understand the root causes of their problems and give them the tools and guidance to turn their life around. You wouldn't go to the gym once and expect to be physically fit. The same goes with emotional fitness. It's something that needs to be regularly worked at – hence the gym concept.
She is also creator of The Emotional Fitness Hub, an online platform for Government and corporate organisations to educate their people about the importance of being proactive when it comes to mental health.
Heidi’s work teaches people how to connect more authentically with their self, others and life in general. It helps to clear the obstacles that prevent peace, happiness and success. In a nutshell, she helps people create a solid foundation for their life and shows them how to build a life worth living on top of that!
Heidi has worked as a regular in all forms of media (radio, print and TV) and in 2011 she helped an Australian record number of people to quit smoking on World No Tobacco Day when she teamed up with Alex Perry and Nicabate.
Prior to doing this work, Heidi was a Certified Practicing Accountant and motivational speaker.
