Dr Janet Hall, The Success Coach, inspires people to have the heart ‘to go for it’ and the discipline ‘to make it’. She is a Clinical Psychologist, hypnotherapist, sex therapist, author, professional speaker, trainer and media consultant working in private practice in Melbourne.
Jan consults regularly with print media and is a frequent guest on talk-back radio and current affairs shows. She has appeared on all major television programs including Good Morning Australia, A Current Affair, The Glasshouse and Today Tonight.
Jan has a unique ability to encourage people to clarify their situation and solve their own problems with both heart (trusting intuition and feelings) and head (with logical analysis and rational prioritisation). She teaches how motivated people, who manage their stress better and minimise conflicts in their relationships at work and home, really can achieve maximum results…faster.
Jan is a powerful influencer and draws upon her hypnotic skills to inspire very effective creative visualizations during presentations. This is evident in her Treasure Map events – (the ‘right-brain’ creative version of goal-setting where participants create a visual map of their goals). She has a happy knack of making psychology user friendly.
Dr Jan founded the Richmond Hill Psychology Clinic and has authored eight books on family and relationship issues (including Fight-Free Families, Fear-Free Children, and Sex-life Solutions). She has written and recorded 51 CDs including Stress-Proof Yourself and Succeed Faster, Total Confidence Through Relaxation, and Hypnosis to Stop-Smoking and Hypnosis to Lose Weight. Jan was a regular for two years on the Sex Life television program in Australia.
She has been a member of the Australian Psychological Society for over thirty years. Jan has dedicated herself to learning a lot of things – quickly – and to help others learn easily, with fun and confidence. In her search for powerful presentation techniques and methods of influencing, Jan has extensively studied state of the art Accelerated Learning Techniques in Australia, Hawaii and in California with the Excellerated Learning Institute.
Over five years, Jan studied extensively with, and was personal assistant to, Robert Kiyosaki, business consultant and author of top selling books – If You Want to Be Rich and Happy, Don’t Go To School and Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Jan has studied with the founders of Neurolinguistic Programming, John Grinder and Richard Bandler, and has studied Ericksonian Hypnosis and participated in workshops with master facilitators such as Michael Yapko and Joseph Barber.
An accredited member of the National Speaker’s Association of Australia, Dr Jan is an accomplished "infotainer” whose user-friendly information is delivered in a down-to-earth and humorous package so that her audiences remember both the fun and the facts.
Her personal mission is to eliminate the Tall Poppy Syndrome in Australia.
