Dr Tim Baker is an international consultant and owner of his business which specialises in assisting organisations develop productive workplace cultures.
Apart from being an internationally recognised consultant, Tim is a published author, keynote speaker, master trainer, executive coach and university lecturer. He is author of over 100 professional and journal articles including his bestselling book: The 8 Values of Highly Productive Companies: Creating Wealth from a New Employment Relationship.
Tim has facilitated over 2,300 workshops and seminars for more than 35,000 participants across 20 industries in 10 countries over 15 years. Tim is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators and a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
His academic qualifications include a Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Arts (Behavioural Science) and a Doctor of Philosophy, majoring in workplace culture. Tim’s thesis was recognised internationally by the Emerald /EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards in 2007. Tim is a Member of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Council and Board Member of the QUT Alumni and Expert Columnist of the prestigious United Kingdom-based Training Journal.
Prior to building his consulting practice, he held senior management positions in education, marketing and business services. His has clients come from many wide and varied industries such as: Aerospace, Banking and Finance, Clothing, Defence, Education, Energy, Engineering Services, Entertainment, Government, Hospitality, Information Technology, Marketing and Sales, Medical, Mining and Construction, Rural and Horticulture, Transportation, and Travel.
Tim’s clients include Boeing, National Australia Bank, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Airlines, IBM, Nokia, SAP, Unilever and many others. Apart from Australia, he has conducted major consulting assignments in Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, Finland, New Zealand and Canada.
