Monica is an engaging talent with exceptional strategy and global advisory experience who invests time and energy innovating in the digital economy. She returned to Australia in 2012 after impressive careers in USA and Middle East. Monica holds non-executive directorships and provides board level strategy advice.

She is an active investor in early stage start-ups and social impact enterprises. Through her director, mentoring and advisory roles she provides innovation and digital economy expertise to corporates, government, not for profits and start-ups.

Monica helps organisations transform from the industrial age into the digital economy. She brings insights and leads strategic discussions that help boards and executives better understand the risks and opportunities of the emerging digital economy and exercise informed judgement in their strategy design. She has designed and led significant transformation programs in government, private sector and regulated industries. Her strong commitment to social capital is evident in her advocacy of impact investing in the NFP sector.

Collaborating with QUT and PwC, Monica was instrumental in establishing the PwC Chair in Digital Economy, an Australian first research chair focused on the digital economy. She continues to play a major role with industry engagement, innovation services and designing game changing capacity building offerings to equip partners, students and organisations to thrive in the digital economy. Her expertise encompasses the full innovation cycle, from inspiration, through ideation, to incubation and commercialisation.

Her exceptional ability to engage people with her compelling fresh approach, transforms executives mind-sets. She is an articulate communicator with a dynamic personal style, effective influencing skills, affable personality and healthy sense of humour. Her well-honed strategic and analytical skills, coupled with her ability to build rapport quickly, mean Monica is a highly effective mentor, advisor, director, investor, leader and chair.
