Mandy Johnson is a best-selling business author and the former UK director of global travel giant, Flight Centre Limited. An active speaker, advisor and executive educator, Mandy’s focus is on how innovative business practices transform organisations and achieve extraordinary results.

She has worked with and been a keynote speaker to many public and private companies such as Michael Hill Jewellery, Griffith University, Ray White Commercial, the State Library of Queensland, Pittard’s Training, Spicer’s Hotels, Coronis Realty, and the Stockbroker’s Association of Australia.

Mandy contributes regular articles to business media such as Smart Company and has appeared on/in Sky Business News, The Australian Financial Review, BRW, Boss Magazine, ABC Radio’s Conversation Hour and Jon Faine Morning Programme, Qantas In-Flight Radio with Alan Kohler and German Eins Magazine for her unconventional business strategies.

Her first book Family, Village Tribe (Random House) rated in Kobo’s top five in the Business-Entrepreneurship category in 2014 and is studied in many MBA courses around Australia. Her second book Winning the War for Talent (Wiley Business) was released in April 2014 and has garnered exceptional reviews and widespread interest on TV, radio and in the business press.

Mandy is an accomplished public speaker whose audiences come away inspired.  As well as her keynotes which are often rated the highlights of conferences, she is also regularly interviewed on business podcasts such as the Australian Businesswomen’s Network.

As a masterclass presenter, Mandy’s business seminar was Bond University’s highest-rated executive education program of its year and it was the first course ever to achieve a perfect evaluation score for the University of Queensland (UQ) Business School. Mandy is also a guest lecturer to UQ’s MBA students.

Mandy’s message has always been relevant, to the point and hits the target…she is an engaging presenter whose impact has been referred to within our organization, in some cases, many years after her presentations.

Ray White Commercial

Mandy Johnson spoke at our Leadership Conference in Melbourne in July 2014. During her session you could almost hear the sound of multiple pens on paper with so many people taking notes. Mandy was one of the best speakers at the conference, as rated by our audience - real estate business owners and managers…. I believe that Mandy is an asset to any conference, and to every business to which she consults.

Pittard Training Group

It was refreshing to have someone present something where they had actually achieved great results and not as a theory-based seminar. I have spent considerable time since your seminar reworking much of our processes – as per your recommendations - and they are proving to be significantly better.

Global X Information

As a leader of an SME I am always looking for ways to not only train but inspire our leadership team to get better. We have just finished a two day leadership course with Mandy Johnson who has blown our socks off with how simple ( not easy) leadership can be. She does this through her interactive and entertaining delivery of the course which left my leaders with practical tools to action immediately in their day to day leadership of their teams. I would strongly recommend Mandy and the course to anyone looking to grow their leadership team as it is not often that you can find a trainer who has ‘done it’ themselves.
