Adam Drake is a speaker, facilitator and theatre practitioner who brings values and character development to life through movement, storytelling and shared experience.
Drawing on his professional acting background and theatre studies at Griffith University, Adam creates energetic, participatory sessions that help people connect, reflect and act with purpose. He has lectured and facilitated theatre learning at Griffith University alongside Linda Hassall, and worked across corporate, education, youth justice and community settings.
His speaking and facilitation experience includes GSK, Norgine, Bristol-Myers Squibb and lululemon, alongside work with NT Police, Education NT, Corrections NT and Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles.
He uses practical frameworks including the Anchor, the Compass and the Ropes of Discipline to explore values, leadership, resilience and wellbeing. Participants identify what matters, consider how they respond under pressure, and make commitments they can apply in everyday life and work.
Adam's point of difference is the experience in the room: audiences move, participate, laugh and learn together. Sessions can be tailored as keynotes, conference energisers, facilitated workshops or team development experiences.
If you can be in the same room as Adam Drake you're in a privileged space. He will challenge the way you see and think about things.
What makes Adam’s message so meaningful is that he speaks through lived experience and from the heart. He brings honesty to the conversation and a willingness to connect with people through shared experiences.
Adam Drake gives us time to reflect on work and ourselves in a fun but constructive manner. Each workshop he gives us skills in leadership and we always take away a little bit of strength.
