Landing his first gig as the guitarist of Gung Ho (a Brisbane based cover band) Quenel played venues all around town including Fibber McGee's Dicey's, The Alderley and the impressive Sirromet Winery. During his time performing with Gung Ho, Quenel would constantly challenge the conventions of pub music with his unique styles and interpretations of modern songs which have acclaimed great attention.
