Josh Boyd is a dynamic singer/guitarist with many talents to offer. With strong roots in jazz from studying at The New Zealand School of Music, Josh can cater for an entire evening from relaxed jazz, soul and folk dinner music all the way through to funk, pop and rock to keep the dance floor happening all night.

Being the son of a music teacher, Josh has been performing nearly all his life, starting at just three years of age. His skills and professionalism were quickly recognised winning several NZ national jazz awards and being invited to perform and teach at the Queenstown International Jazz Festival among internationally renowned artists such as James Morrison and Tom Lellis.

Several years of working on cruise ships with many different artists and travelling to over 60 countries has given Josh valuable experience and versatility to offer many musical styles. He is flexible in his delivery covering solo, duo, and with his full band “Chameleon”.

Josh Boyd’s soulful voice combined with his funky, jazz guitar creates a warm upbeat atmosphere, adding a touch of class and making any event one to remember.
