Sophie Hampel (or Soph as she likes to be called) is the CEO and Co-Founder of an Australian-based global consultancy that bridges the gap between the role of leadership and organisational diversity today, and the possibilities for a more inclusive and equitable tomorrow.
A registered psychologist, leadership and DEIB advisor, and executive coach with over 10 years’ experience consulting with organisations globally, Sophie drives business outcomes for her organisational clients through their most valuable resources-their people. She is deeply passionate about unblocking limiting beliefs and creating environments where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. She achieves this by elevating inclusion, belonging, and psychological well-being to create more adaptive, inclusive, and connected workplaces.
Sophie partners with organisations and their leaders from across the private and public sectors, with clients including Woolworths Group, Commonwealth Bank, Atlassian, Department of Defence, Australia Post and TPG Telecom.
She is known for her ability to translate complex theory and research into practical tools and techniques, as well as create compassionate space for uncomfortable conversations to build psychological capital and develop inclusive leaders and teams.
With expertise in DEIB, insights on leadership, along with her personal experiences of the highs and lows that come with it, Sophie is an authentic and memorable presenter. Her big heart and even bigger desire to get to the heart of issues in pursuit of solutions make her a sought-after advisor, coach, and much-valued extension of the teams she works with.
