Dr Jenny Brockis is a Medical Practitioner, healthy brain advocate and future mind planner. She works as the Director and Founder of Brain Fit.
A self-confessed nerd, Dr. Jenny has followed the adage of being a life-long learner, graduating as a Nightingale Nurse (St. Thomas’ Hospital London), Medical Practitioner (MB. ChB. Bristol), FRACGP, with further post graduate qualifications in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, the Neuroscience of Leadership, and training in Mindfulness Meditation.
Jenny is an expert in brain fitness: what it takes for individuals and organisations to stay brain healthy, eliminate poor thinking skills and boost mental performance.
Her goal is to make brain fitness as well understood as Jamie Oliver has made healthy eating.
Passionate, eloquent and inspiring, Jenny's keynotes and workshops provide cutting edge insights in to how the neuroscience provides the perfect pathway to navigate our complex, complicated and busy world.
She is the author of three books Brain Fit!, Brain Smart and Future Brain. Never content to simply stay with the status quo, Jenny continues in her quest to promote the development of a brain friendly culture that nurtures and develops all brains at work.
"I specialise in creating smarter thinking by design, working as a brain health consultant to busy professionals, business owners and leaders who seek to stay at the top of their game by retaining their mental edge, energy and motivation and feel happy, healthy and fulfilled.
What I’m really passionate about is empowering others to become the best version of themselves, so they can live life to its fullest, with a greater sense of achievement, fulfilment and happiness.
As a medical practitioner with what some might call an unhealthy obsession in trying to understand what makes people tick, I love delving into the neuroscience and positive psychology, to develop tools and strategies that can help us all.
I’m a life-long learner, educator and recently recruited exercise nut providing keynotes, training and consulting. I’ve written three books including the best-seller Future Brain (Wiley), had numerous articles published in print and on -line and have been in demand as a brain health expert and commentator for radio and TV.
My family are my world and I do what I do as much for them as for everyone else. There is nothing I love more than sitting down for a family dinner, sharing the company of good friends and planning our next travel adventure to somewhere on the planet. "
