Brennon Dowrick has represented Australia at two Olympic Games, three Commonwealth Games and seven World Championships. Not only is he one of Australia’s most successful gymnasts, winning two gold medals on the pommel horse, he is also one of our country’s most innovative, entertaining and effective motivational speakers, delivering on:
- Increased individual motivation, focus and passion
- Understanding the importance of individual roles and the value of teamwork
- Greater corporate productivity and performance.
Brennon is in his 40's and, as part of his presentation, still performs the routine he won a gold medal for in 1990 as an 18 year old! He attributes this to "walking the talk" and following his three philosophies on a daily basis. Through his dedication, he has been able to help himself and others achieve what many would believe impossible.
Brennon presents a motivational keynote with a business performance message. Incorporated into the presentation is a live pommel horse performance, which is a memorable vehicle to reinforce positive and effective messages.
His presentation is a high energy, entertaining and memorable session that is an ideal opening or closing conference session. Brennon presents simple and effective motivational messages in a unique and unforgettable way:
Foundations - the importance of completing each task to the best of your ability, every time. Success builds from strong foundations.
Extra 15 - Brennon’s lifelong secret to success. Devoting an extra 15 minutes a day to a task that will help you achieve your goal.
Teamwork - Everything is better when you have support. Your team includes colleagues, managers and your company. When individuals are engaged with, and positively contributing to, their teams not only do the teams benefit, but so does the individual. A win-win.
Health and Wellbeing - The benefits of investing in health and wellbeing and simple ways to make positive changes.
Brennon is also the founder of social enterprise, Champion Edge, a motivational program with a focus on health and fitness for Australian teenagers and owner of Jetts Fitness in Booval. In 2015 he was awarded an OAM in the Australian Day Honours.
