Cameron Smith is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and turned professional in 2013.

Smith enjoyed a fine amateur career down under and used it to propel himself into an undemonstrative but excellent professional campaign.

He started life in the pro ranks on the Asian Tour and progressed to the PGA Tour via a top five finish at Chambers Bay in the 2015 US Open.

His career has taken him around the world competing and progressing his talent and success. In January 2020, Smith won the Sony Open in Hawaii in a playoff over Brendan Steele; his first individual victory on the PGA Tour.

In finishing tied for runner-up to Dustin Johnson at the 2020 Masters, Smith also became the first golfer in Masters history to shoot all four rounds in the '60s (67-68-69-69)

In January 2022, Cameron started the new year by winning the Tournament of Champions. Shooting 34-under-par, no-one has gone lower in TOUR history. Beating Jon Rahm by one-shot, the Australian collected his fourth TOUR victory in Hawaii.

Within three months he had taken another huge step by claiming THE PLAYERS Championship, the "fifth Major", by thrashing a brilliant final round 66 that included no less than 10 birdies.
